Our Founder
FounderAt the heart of MatriAmrit is a mother whose greatest expression of love has always been through food, care, and seva. A mother of three daughters and three sons, she has spent a lifetime learning the art of cooking from her own mother and mother-in-law, while continually exploring new ways to create wholesome, nourishing meals.
Even today, her kitchen is filled with a variety of preparations made with love, and her table welcomes everyone-from little infants to elders-drawn not only by the healthy food she prepares, but by her warm, motherly nature.
Her enthusiasm for learning, cooking, and serving has never faded. What began as a way of caring for her own family gradually became something much larger: a desire to share the same love, nourishment, and thoughtful preparation with others. At a stage of life when many may choose to slow down, she chose to begin something new-to pass on what she has learned and turn her lifelong love for food and family into a meaningful seva through MatriAmrit.
For her, it is never too late to learn, never too late to serve, and never too late to share love.
